This place fits the stereotypical description of a "cheap Chinese" joint to a T. No ambiance, photos of the food posted at the register (Instagram-esque), a very large menu with everything you'd expect, and well priced lunch specials ($7 out the door). My to-go order of Mongolian beef was ready in less than 5 minutes and was piping hot with decent flavor. Their fried rice is a little different (a bit saucier maybe?) than I was expecting but in a good way. I like that you have the option to 86 the included egg roll to save a little cash. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other lunch specials. The guy at the register was friendly too, which is always a plus. If you come here with tempered expectations and an empty stomach, I think you'll leave satisfied.

A very friendly staff of this family owned restaurant. Sure the decor is a little dated, but the food is good and worthy of giving them a try.

I have seen such good reviews of this place. I had to try it. I have been seeing this place for years and I have never been in. Well today that changed.
I went in for lunch around 12:15p. There were 2 other tables there. They did not have a lot of fine in guests but MAN they do a heck of a lot of take out business.
I ordered Special House Noodle Soup (I have been on a soup kick lately). It was full of beef, chicken, shrimp, noodles, and veggies. It was a huge helping of food. At least enough for 2 people. It was decent soup. Lacked a bit of seasoning but I fixed that with soy sauce. Now I have seen reviews with folks saying this is the best soup they have had....I wouldn't go that far but it was tasty.
I will definitely go back and try other items. It is in a strip mall and it is not the best locale. But the inside was neat and clean.
Try Tycoon. Get you some! -

Great good at a great price! Food is freshly prepared and not salty. Chicken wings have several varieties and flavors.

Oh my god! That Tom Yum soup is freaking amazing!!! The double fried pan noodles was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. It makes my palette have an erection just thinking about it. The house lo mein is spectacular. The Malaysian chicken was like heaven. For an appetizer, you need to get the pot stickers.
Here's the thing with Tycoon. Stay away from the Chinese lunch menu. It's only there to sustain their business by satisfying the American market. The flavors are bland and the food is Americanized. Be adventurous and try something you've never heard of. It will be an amazing journey.
